Monster Transcription , LLC is a transcription and radiology operations company that specializes in radiology and cardiology imaging. Additionally, Monster is experienced in Voice recognition editing and review. Monster was formed in April of 2007.

During the last year, Monster Transcription has gotten into the business of providing remote operations for preparing studies in the field of teleradiology for radiologists. We can now remotely reconcile images on your PACS with the orders in RIS, communicate with your clients for missing paperwork or prior studies among other things as part of a customer service detail. We can fulfill this for you in place of you needing to hire full time staff and be bothered with benefits and/or HR headaches. This system has been proven to be efficient over the past year. Steve Currier functions as the liaison of the organization to all clients. His role as Administrator is to maintain customer relations and customer satisfaction as well as procuring new accounts. Steve has had 20 years clinical experience as a leader in the health industry serving time as a technologist in ultrasound and radiology imaging as well as an associate professor of ultrasound for Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences. He served the last 10 years after receiving his Masters in Healthcare Administration as an administrator for imaging departments and radiologists’ practices including forming a Teleradiology company.

Kris Rakes functions as the Director of Operations for our organization. Kris has also served the Medical Transcription Industry well. She is admired greatly for her work as a transcriber. Kris has been with Monster for nearly 2 years and is the greatest asset a company can have. The radiologists who work with her would have no other. Kris oversees our transcription staff and Quality controls any work she does not do her self. Additionally, she is the coordinator of the operations services and training. She has developed a large team of both transcribers and operations clerks whose ethics and abilities strive to be like her own.
